Trevor Whitelaw
Trevor Whitelaw is employed by Santos Ltd in Adelaide. For 24 years he was based at Moomba in North East of SA including 15 years as the Operations Manager. This gained him a wide experience with all aspects of the petroleum industry and it also provided him with a unique opportunity to be involved with the Rangelands, the Lake Eyre Region and the community of the region. He has a continuing involvement with the region and the opportunity to be actively involved through interaction with the landholders in the SA and Qld section of the Cooper Basin, government department interface roles and liaison with other petroleum operators in the area. He is also actively involved in community and NRM processes as a member of the SA Arid Lands NRM Board and as petroleum industry representative on the Cooper Creek Catchment Committee.
Trevor represents the petroleum industry on the CAC.
The Lake Eyre Basin Agreement is implemented by the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities, and the Queensland, South Australian and Northern Territory Governments
