Members of the Community Advisory Committee meet in Longreach
The CAC meets approximately 3 times per year.
Our meetings are open to interested observers, with provision for closed sessions to discuss confidential matters if necessary. We usually meet at locations within the Lake Eyre Basin, and occasionally outside the Basin.

The Lake Eyre Basin Agreement is implemented by the Australian Government Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts, and the Queensland, South Australian and Northern Territory Governments
