Community Advisory Committee

We provide community advice to Government on water and related natural resource issues in the Lake Eyre Basin.

Many of us live and work in the Lake Eyre Basin, and we represent a wide range of community interests. We have been appointed by the Lake Eyre Basin Ministerial Forum as their main link with the people, communities, industries and interest groups in the Basin.

A key part of our role is to maintain close contact with communities and groups in the Basin. Our approach to this is guided by principles of inclusiveness, trust, openness and reciprocal benefit.
